How my journey started

My journey began as the classical creative child that loved to draw, write stories and create whatever my small hands were able to. Then in school my talent for science and tech was discovered, which led me to pursue a physics degree at first. But soon I noticed that a career lacking creativity could never be fulfilling to me.

Captivated by both creative arts and technological challenges, I started my journey into the 3D world by studying Game Art and Animation, finally incorporating all dimensions of personality, passion and skill into my work.

Today, I am driven by my everlasting urge to create as well as a curious, problem-solving mind that is dedicated to always deliver highest quality work.

My Philosophy

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothinng.

– Socrates

Skills and knowledge are a valuable currency that gets overestimated so easily. There is always more knowledge to learn, a new skill to practice or a new idea to explore. I want to stay curious and learn as much as possible because I believe that widespread experiences enable you to find new creative approaches more easily while also having a lot of fun.

Know how to listen and you will profit even from those who talk badly.

– Plutarch

Any creative process is not only about expressing yourself but also about listening closely to others and their unique needs and perspectives. For me it is important to always communicate clearly and respectfully with everyone. Escaping our own mindset by stepping into another person’s shoes with curiosity is one of the best ways to grow and learn more about the world, especially if opinions might differ on a subject.

A clever person solves a problem. A wise person avoids it.

– Albert Einstein

Before taking action, I try to understand the big picture goal and the benefits and potential drawbacks of my workflow. This helps me to predict and avoid potential issues, as well as pre-plan solutions and alternative approaches. Every decision has consequences and being aware of them is my way to make balanced and informed decisions that lead to success.

When I'm not working...

… I still love to create and explore creative ideas. In contrast to my mostly 3D professional work, I focus on 2D art and traditional craftsmanship in my free time. From sketching and painting to modeling small figurines, weaving an occasional dreamcatcher and experimenting with resin or acrylic pouring techniques, I go wherever my creativity leads me.
